The Relationship with Your Lineage
Ancestors, family, lineage
Your relationship with everything you inherited: beliefs, conditioning, fears, invisible loyalties and ways of surviving. This is where your idea of "who you are" and "what you are allowed to be" takes shape, often before you ever get the chance to choose consciously.
You may recognise yourself if…
- You live patterns that don't feel like yours: scarcity, failure, illness, difficult relationships, fear of money or of doing better than the others.
- You feel a weight that is hard to explain, as if something keeps pulling you back into survival mode.
- You stay loyal to family rules: "that's how we all were", "there's no other way", "we don't deserve more".
- You identify with what you were told you are, instead of discovering who you really are.
When it is in balance
- You can honour your family without taking on their fears, limits or pain as your own destiny.
- You release the loyalties that keep you stuck and take your energy back from patterns that aren't yours.
- You stop living from survival and start living from choice, without guilt and without fearing you betray those before you.
- You claim your right to be who you were meant to be.
How it helped me
I even rejected my own name, because I associated it with poverty and felt ashamed of it. That shame held me back in business. I also carried a loyalty to my mother's side of the family: struggling and sacrificing myself for others. When I balanced this relationship, I felt for the first time that I belong, without carrying the weight on their behalf.
